Bingo!

Bingo CardWith the classic version of bingo, students are given bingo cards with different key words on. You then read out questions, and if they have the answer on their card they cross it off.

The first person to get a complete row, column or diagonal shouts “Bingo!” – you can then check they haven’t cheated by looking at their card and asking them the questions again to check they know the answers.

This obviously works best if the students all have different cards (otherwise they’ll all shout bingo at the same time). You can achieve this by writing the keywords on the board and getting the students to copy them down into a grid in a random order. Or, if you actually want random bingo cards, I’ve made a Bingo Card Generator that will quickly create randomized cards for you.
